Fremont, CA (October 21, 2020) — Phihong’s rapid charging AQ18A-59CFA-H and AQ18E-59CFA-H USB-C chargers have been certified to USB Power Delivery 3.0 by USB. USB-C offers higher charging current capabilities than USB-A, resulting in faster charging times.
When connected to power delivery aware devices through a USB-C to USB-C cable, the intelligent AQ18 chargers can provide an optimal negotiated output of up to 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A, or 15V/1.2A to the powered device.
Ideal for personal electronics and consumer electronics applications, the AQ18A-59CFA-H for the USA and Canada and the AQ18E-59CFA-H for Europe feature a USB-C receptacle and over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, and over-temperature protection features.
The AQ18A-59CFA-H measures 2.68 x 1.57 x 0.92” (LxWxH) with a weight of 55g, is UL Listed to 62368-1, complies with FCC Part 15 and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada class B emissions rules, and is compliant with Level VI and Natural Resources Canada efficiency standards.
The AQ18E-59CFA-H measures 3.02 x 1.61 x 0.96” (LxWxH) with a weight of 55g, bears the CE mark, is certified to IEC 62368-1, meets EN55032 and EN55024 immunity standards, and is compliant with the European Union regulation 2019/1782 governing the efficiency of external power supplies.
